Thank you for your interest in rescuing an animal with us. We only profile those animals on this page which are healthy and officially ready to be adopted. However, there are many more animals behind the scenes that are being nursed back to health by our incredible foster parents or are just too young to be put up for adoption. How tO APPLY
PENDING APPLICATIONS
This means there is an adopter interested in the dog already. You can still apply for him/her, however, there is someone ahead of you that will have first opportunity to adopt.
DOG OF THE WEEK
Dogs chosen for Dog of the Week have a reduced adoption fee of $75 for one week! Senior Dogs are $50 as Dog of the Week!
GENERAL SIZE REFERENCE
SMALL: Up to 30lbs | MEDIUM: 30-60 lbs | LARGE/XL: 60lbs+
*this is just a guideline as we cannot always guarantee size when fully grown
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs located at AARCS Safe Haven may be available for viewing during business hours! Give us a call at 403-250-7377 to arrange a time to stop by. Please note, applications will be processed in the order they are received. We highly recommend submitting an application online for the dog(s) you are interested in prior to calling for an appointment time.
