Wellness Clinics

Pets bring joy, companionship, and comfort to their owners, and we want to help ensure they receive the veterinary care they need. New to AARCS community programming in 2025, we are proud to offer Compassionate Care Wellness Clinics for Seniors. This special initiative is designed to be a compassionate, low-barrier option to help seniors access essential care for their furry companions.

What Are the Wellness Clinics?

In 2025, AARCS will be hosting four Wellness Clinics aimed at assisting seniors in Calgary with basic veterinary care for their pets. These one-day clinics will provide basic wellness exams and vaccinations to help ensure the health and well-being of pets in our community.

When is the Next Wellness Clinic?

How to Apply

To attend a Wellness Clinic, you must complete an application online using the link below. Attendance is by pre-approval only. Our team will review applications and notify selected participants with details, including their scheduled time slot. 

Wellness Clinic applications are currently CLOSED. Please stay tuned for the next clinic when applications re-open!

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for our Wellness Clinics, you must:

  • Be 65 years of age or older
  • Have reliable transportation to bring your pet to and from the Wellness Clinic
  • Receive pre-approval (fill in the form above to apply)

  • Location: AARCS Safe Haven & Veterinary Hospital
    5060-74 Ave SE, Calgary
  • Date/time: To be announced!
  • Format: One-day clinic with scheduled appointment times
  • Services Provided: Basic wellness exams & vaccinations

Please note, due to high demand for this program, we are currently only accepting limited clients aged 65+ from Calgary & area. An application is not a guarantee of assistance.
