Hi, I’m Ziti, and I’ve discovered that home life suits me really well!

When I first arrived in care, I was a little unsure of everything, but it didn’t take me long to settle in. Within just a couple of days, I figured out the routine, learned where to do my business (I’m now fully house trained!), and started to relax into being a happy, easygoing companion. These days, I’m just as comfortable heading out to the yard as I am peeing on walks.

I walk beautifully on leash and am very easy to guide — I’m happy to follow along wherever you lead. I do get a little excited when I spot squirrels or hares (they’re very interesting!), but I stay manageable and don’t get out of control. I also love being around other dogs and have great social skills — I’m playful when the vibe is right, but I’m also gentle and respectful, even with smaller dogs.

At home, I’m calm, polite, and easy to live with. I can be left alone for a few hours at a time and will happily snooze on the couch or floor while you’re away — no destruction, no fuss. I enjoy being near my people but don’t need constant attention. Whether I’m napping nearby, playing with a squeaky toy, or working on a brain puzzle, I’m just happy to be part of the space.

I’ve got a playful side (I do love my toys), but I also settle nicely indoors and respond well to gentle redirection if I get a bit excited. I’m not overly food-driven, but I do enjoy my meals and will happily come check in at dinnertime — don’t worry, I’m polite and won’t steal off your plate. What I really love? Belly rubs, ear scratches, and cozy snuggles.

I’d likely do best in a home that can give me regular activity, some mental enrichment, and lots of love — and if there’s another friendly dog to play with, that would be a bonus. More than anything, I’m a sweet, intuitive girl who has blossomed quickly once given a safe, calm place to land.

All I needed was safety — now I’m ready for my forever family.
