About Ducati

This speckle-faced sweetheart isn’t the boldest puppy in the room… but she might just be the most special.

Ducati is an approximately 3-month-old puppy with the sweetest personality and the cutest speckled little face. While her siblings appear to be more low-rider, corgi-type pups, Ducati looks more like a collie mix with longer legs and a gentle, thoughtful nature.

She is still very shy and learning that the world — and people — are safe. Ducati wants to be close to her humans and happily wags her tail, gives kisses, and comes over for treats, but she still gets nervous when approached too quickly or when people reach toward her. She’s making progress every day and will need a patient family willing to let her build confidence at her own pace.

Ducati absolutely loves being around her foster family’s dachshund and spends hours playing with her sister Faith — running, wrestling, digging holes, and rolling in the grass together. Because of this, we think she would do best in a home with another confident, friendly dog to help guide her.

For such a young puppy, Ducati has been wonderfully well behaved in the home. She hasn’t had accidents indoors and simply follows the other dogs outside. She’s curious but respectful around the cat and has shown a very gentle temperament overall.

Ducati is not yet leash or collar trained and likely won’t shine in a loud or busy meet-and-greet setting right away. She’s the kind of puppy who needs a little time to trust — but once she does, you can already see the loving, loyal dog she’s going to become.

Ducati may be shy at first, but behind those speckled freckles is one of the sweetest little souls you’ll ever meet.
