Thank you for your interest in rescuing an animal with us. We only profile those animals on this page which are healthy and officially ready to be adopted. However, there are many more animals behind the scenes that are being nursed back to health by our incredible foster parents or are just too young to be put up for adoption. This page is updated daily. Check back often!

PENDING APPLICATIONS

This means there is an adopter interested in the dog already. You can still apply for him/her, however, there is someone ahead of you that will have first opportunity to adopt.

DOG OF THE WEEK

Dogs chosen for Dog of the Week have a reduced adoption fee of $75 for one week! Senior Dogs are $50 as Dog of the Week!

GENERAL SIZE REFERENCE

SMALL: Up to 30lbs | MEDIUM: 30-60 lbs | LARGE/XL: 60lbs+

*this is just a guideline as we cannot always guarantee size when fully grown

Adoptable Dogs with our Wags 2 Wishes tag have a special adoption fee of just $100 in efforts to get them into loving forever homes.

PLEASE NOTE: There are NO Adoptable Animals at the AARCS shelter in Calgary for viewing. All of our animals available for adoption are in foster homes throughout Calgary and the surrounding area.
