Jed is loyal and loving!

Jed is a young dog full of play who is looking for his forever home. This boy is equal measures of cuteness and bounce! He has thrived in a busy foster home with two other large dogs, two cats, and two teenage children and would do well in a home with at least one other confident dog to help him continue to develop his confidence.

This sweet boy walks well on leash, has learned all of his basic commands, and sleeps in his crate overnight. His most favourite activity is playing with his foster siblings, and especially the resident German Shepherd! As a hound cross, Jed requires a lot of intellectual stimulation as well as physical exercise and would do well in a home where games and puzzle treats can be provided.

While Jed is happy-go-lucky in environments he knows well, he is still working to build his confidence with new people and in new spaces. The key with him is to take all introductions slowly, letting him feel comfortable and safe. This includes a home with securely fenced yard. Once Jed connects, it is love for life! He continuously looks to cuddle with his foster family and loves having his big velvety ears stroked.
