“Hello there and thank you for stopping in to learn a little more about me! My AARCS name is Fizzle, but my Foster Family call me Stella.

I am a sweet and loving little personality and even though I love my foster family SOOOO Much, and they love me SOOOO Much, they aren’t able to have 2 dogs forever and so I am looking for a home to call my own. I am glad you stopped to learn more about me because I have a lot of love and loyalty to give and think maybe you and I are a match!

I am going to be a smallish dog – except for my ears – they aren’t small. 😊 Despite my itty bitty size, I sure do pack a lot of love, intelligence and FUN in my little body!

At my foster home, there are 3 kids and always lots of people coming and going. I love children and am friendly with new people. If I am unsure, I just stick close to my family for a few moments until they give me the sign that all is well, and then I am all squiggles and wiggles and love as I get to know my new friends.

I am a quiet pooch – if I bark it is usually a little ‘yip’ of playfulness when I am horsing around with my foster dog brother. We like to wrestle, and I love to bust out my great moves and supreme agility as I zoom about the yard with him! I have a lot of fancy tricks!!

I am smart – quick to learn the routine and expectations here. I know how to sit, am polite at meal times and I am pretty much housetrained – as long as you are paying attention to my signals! My foster fam has taught me to ring a little bell by their backdoor to get their attention and I am pretty good at that!

I am crate trained and will stay quiet and patiently wait if my family is away at work. I sleep through the night in a crate beside my Foster Mum and Dad’s bed and am quiet except for my contented little sighs.

I know the difference between toys and furniture or shoes and I keep my teeth where they belong. If you leave a dirty sock on the floor, I might grab it so I can tease you, but I will give it back when you ask me to. I like to chew on my ball and really enjoy soft toys with squeakers in them. I am even learning to play a bit of fetch!

Walking on a leash is a bit overwhelming but everyday I get a little better at it. Mostly I love just playing in my yard, but if we venture out I will trot along, looking to you for reassurance when noisy cars go by or if lots of people are around. I am curious about birds and squirrels and feel its best to mind my own business when passing other dogs.

All in all, I am a smaller sized, clever, fun-loving little lass that has so very much love and playfulness to contribute to my pack. I hope you will come to meet me so I can wiggle and squiggle my affections your way and we can see if we are a forever match!!
