Kona is a stunning, big-hearted girl with beautiful merle coloring that truly makes her stand out from the crowd. This lovely lady is as sweet as she is strong, with a playful and curious nature that shines through in everything she does. She loves to run, explore, and follow her nose—taking in all the exciting scents the world has to offer.

Kona is treat-motivated and already knows “sit,” making her a great candidate for continued training. She would love a family who is excited to help her build on her manners and confidence through positive reinforcement. When she gets excited, Kona can be a bit jumpy and, due to her size and strength, may not always realize just how big she is. She does fairly well on leash but may pull at times, so a home comfortable handling a strong dog will be important.

Kona would thrive in an active home that can provide her with regular exercise, enrichment activities, and opportunities to explore. She has done well with children and has a loving, affectionate nature that makes her a wonderful companion.
