Modelo is a gentle soul with a soft heart and an even softer purr. When he first arrived, the busy shelter environment felt overwhelming, and he preferred to spend his time tucked away in his cubby, quietly observing the world. But with a little patience and kindness, Modelo has blossomed into a sweet and affectionate companion. Though he still appreciates the safety of his cozy hiding spot, he is quick to peek out when someone visits, and once he realizes you’re a friend, he happily leans in for chin rubs and greets you with his warm, gentle purr. His affectionate side shines brightest when he feels safe, making him a wonderful match for a calm, quiet home where he can continue to grow in confidence.

Modelo is truly a sweetheart—thoughtful, tender, and full of love—and he’s ready to find a patient adopter who will cherish his gentle nature as he fully comes into his own.
