Moderately shy

This is Smudge – one of the most athletic and playful cats you’ll ever meet!

Smudge was very wary of people and all their movements. Over time, Smudge has developed his sense of security living in a home and has stopped hiding under the furniture! Although he doesn’t like to be touched, he does like to be near people, especially if you are holding a wand toy! He is very good with the litter box and isn’t too picky about food.

If you are looking to adopt two cats, he is at his most comfortable with his brother Pippen. He also seeks out the older foster cat, so we think that there is a good chance that if a new cat likes him, Smudge will return the affection.

Smudge will do best with a quieter household, and with patient people. Although shy, Smudge is also gentle and interested in people. Given time to gain confidence, we are sure that he will become an irreplaceably adorable part of your home!
