Thunder recently came into AARCS care through no fault of his own, and he’s handled the change with quiet grace. He’s fully house-trained and does his business on walks. Thunder is a dream on leash and absolutely loves going for walks. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or an adventure on the trail, he’s just happy to be by your side. And when the walk is over? Get ready for some serious belly rub requests – it’s his favorite thing next to cuddling up with you.

He does just fine in a kennel, but if you asked him, he’d much rather be snoozing near you at night. He thrives on connection and would make an incredibly loyal companion for someone looking for a true buddy. Thunder hasn’t met a lot of other dogs yet, but he’s done well with the ones he has encountered. With slow introductions and a bit of guidance, he could absolutely enjoy a doggy friend.
