Moderately shy

Hi. My name is Coaldale! I am very timid to new places and people. It took me 2 weeks in my current foster to show how gorgeous I am. I still run away if approached too fast but I do like gentle pets and I have a lovely purr. When I first got to the current foster, I had to get lots of medications, so now unfortunately, when I get held, I think I’m going to get medicated,  so I struggle to get down but I’m getting better with it. I was very well behaved for my medicating though.

I adore licky treats (Cat It treats/churros). I like to steal the packet and then I destroy it and make sure I don’t waste any of its yumminess! Feeding me these helped me get to know my current foster family better. One of my favorite toys is a cat toy spring. I like to run around with it and fling it around. 

For my forever home, I need somewhere gentle and calm as sudden movements can be scary. I need to be approached slowly or I run away. My bravery has increased significantly since being in the current foster home (3 weeks) but I’m still a bit timid. I would need another young cat, preferably a sibling (Stowe, Stavely, Vauxhall, Pearce, Warner,  Claresholm or Enchant.). Adult cats are a little scary but I’m getting better as I realise that they are not going to hurt me. I think young kids might be too much for me because of their fast sudden movements.
