Slightly timid

Hello, I’m Paulie! I am a sweet boy who enjoys cuddles and also time on my own- just the perfect mix! .

When Paulie first came to us he was quite nervous but curious. They originally thought he might only be a barn cat but Paulie didn’t agree. Very quickly, he started to warm up and look for pets. Now he will come find us and sit on our lap or beside us on the couch. He loves belly rubs and head strokes. He also really loves to be brushed.

Paulie is still a bit nervous especially when people move quickly. For this reason he may be best in a house with older kids or teenagers. He has two human teenagers that he lives with and he enjoys them.

Paulie also lives with three female cat foster siblings. He gets along fine with them and they mostly just ignore each other. Occasionally, he will clean one of them or lie nearby. I think he would be fine as a solo cat or with friends. He has not been exposed to dogs other than hearing them bark.

He is a pro at the litter box. The one thing Paulie is not a fan of is his crate – I mean me neither buddy! Paulie really enjoys being up high on his cat tree and looking out the window.

You may notice his partial left ear which we think just adds to his charm. It doesn’t seem to bother him at all.
