I’ve been waiting for you… ever so patiently – that’s one of my strong suits, I’m one of the most patient cats you’ll ever meet. I’ve been practicing this note all morning (between purrs and snack breaks). I heard you might be looking for a loving, gentle companion… and I thought, maybe it’s me you’ve been waiting for.

I’m 7 years old, which means I’m at that perfect age: wise enough to understand your routines, patient enough to adapt to them, and still playful, curious, and full of sweetness. My humans say I have beautiful green, soulful eyes, but I hope you’ll see more than that — I hope you’ll see my heart.

Here’s who I am, if you’ll let me tell you:

I’m very affectionate and love being close. Curling up beside you while you read a book or watch a movie? That’s one of my absolute favorite pastimes. I nuzzle, I purr, and I love to sleep pressed right up against my humans. If you wake up to me happily greeting you on my hind legs — don’t be surprised. I just can’t help how excited I get when someone I love opens their eyes in the morning or comes home from work.

In addition to being extremely affectionate, I’m wonderfully laid back. I fit into a family’s schedule easily, and I don’t fuss about feeding times — even though I do enjoy food (who doesn’t?). I’m working hard on my weight loss journey; I’ve already made great progress, and I just have a bit more to go. I’m proud of myself!

I’m friendly, too — not just with you, but with guests and children. I love meeting new people, and I greet them with warmth, not the “cat-attude” some of my cousins are known for. I’m genuinely kind, gentle, and eager to please. I always use my litterbox, and I try my very best to be a good girl. My foster parents say I learn house rules quickly and don’t have an aggressive bone in my body.

Even though I might look like an “average cat,” I promise you… I’m something special. My nature is soft, loving, and rare. I don’t pretend, and I don’t play games — I just love, deeply and sincerely. Did I mention, I’m affectionate?

I would be honored to be your companion, your reading buddy, your little shadow, your purring blanket. I’d love to spend my nights curled against you (if you let me share your pillow), my mornings greeting you with happy paws, and my days sharing simple quiet moments.

And… if it’s not too forward… I’d really love to come home for the holidays. I’ve been dreaming of cozy lights, warm laps, and being part of a family who sees me for who I truly am.
