Slightly timid

Hi, I’m Kite! Once shy, now shining—I’m learning that people are pretty wonderful.

When I first came into foster care, I wasn’t sure what to think. Everything felt new and a little scary, so I stayed tucked away in my safe spot. But with gentle pets, kind voices, and lots of patience, I started to realize something amazing — people are really, really good. Now I come out to explore the house, soak up the sunshine, and say hello whenever my humans walk by.

I love people… truly. I can’t resist a good head boop or chin rub, and I’ll purr and melt the moment someone gives me attention. I’ve even started to “talk” more — especially in the mornings! I greet my foster parents with happy little meows when it’s breakfast time (I really love breakfast) and then stick around for lots of pets before I settle into my day.

I’m a gentle girl — I’ve never bitten or scratched — and I’m proud of how brave I’ve become. Every day, I come a little more out of my shell and even find myself playing now and then!

I’d love a calm, loving home where I can keep blooming at my own pace, with someone who enjoys affectionate cats and will appreciate my soft, people-loving nature
