Run Calgary invites you to support the animals at AARCS by registering for the Dash of Doom race, a family-friendly and pet-friendly Halloween tradition for families.

A full afternoon of Halloween festivities is sure to entertain all the goblins and ghouls in your life. Join us before the races and enjoy the pre-race festival!
Snack on some treats, get your face painted for free, try out the inflatable slide, and don’t forget to snap some pics at oneΒ of the photo backdrops!
Come dressed up in your costumes, and don’t forget the costume for your pooch! All costumes, both human and pets, will be eligible for awards! The best dog costume will win a prize package and, most importantly, they will be featured on the 2025 medal and running shirt!
π 2:00 PM – Pre-race festivities – Face Painter, DJ, Food Truck
π 2:30 PM – Dog costume parade & contest
π 3:00 PM – Kidsβ Race
π 3:30 PM – 5 km and 10 km Race (starts in waves, 3 minutes apart)
