2023 Kenneled for a Cause Block Party
AARCS’ Kenneled for a Cause Block Party is proudly presented by CIR Realty!
This family-fun event will have a BLOCK PARTY, street market, kids area, food trucks, adoptable animals on site and so much more! Invite your friends and family and enjoy some fun under the sun! Our goal is to raise $70,000 to help the hundreds of animals in our care – but we can’t do it without your support!
On Saturday, September 16th, the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) will be hosting its ‘Kenneled for a Cause’ BLOCK PARTY presented by CIR Realty! The event will be held at our SAFE HAVEN shelter (5060 74 Avenue SE, Calgary) from 11am to 5pm.
In the last year, we have experienced a notable rise in the length of stay for pets in shelter as finding foster homes for dogs, cats and critters has become more challenging. With this in mind, we are asking animal lovers and supporters of AARCS to put themselves in their shoes for a day, or lend a hand to someone who will! Our shelter was meant for short-term care prior to placement in a loving foster home. Each pet that comes through our doors comes with their own story, and challenges they need to overcome – which is why this is a great opportunity to provide them with a better life!
We’re doing things a little differently this year! Anyone can sign up for a chance to be SHELTERED at AARCS’ Safe Haven in support of the animals! First $500 raised qualifies YOU to be kenneled on-site the day of the event! The rest of your target BREAKOUT BOND is to set you free! 💸
