Meet Angel- a lovable and playful bundle of sweetness and light

💖 Dear Future Family,

Hello… my name is Angel, and I celebrated my very first birthday last month. 🎂. I’ve been told that birthdays are for wishes, and my biggest wish has been the same every single day — to be blessed with a forever home and the special humans I’ve been praying for. Maybe… that could be you?

My foster mom says I’m true to my name because I’m such a well behaved, sweet, friendly, and gentle little soul. I’m beautiful inside and out, with my short and lovely white and ginger coat, bright expressive green eyes, and my adorable little freckle beauty mark. Even though I’m a petite girl at only 7 pounds, I do have a heathy appetite. I can tell you that Seafood-flavored foods and tasty treats are my favorites, but I’m not picky and will eagerly eat whatever is put before me

I have a very warm heart and love being close to my humans. I come running when I’m called by my name and get very excited to see the people I care about. The very unique thing about me is that I have a lot of faith and trust humans deeply. I am eager to form a bond with my forever person/people and will be quick to do so. I’m a social and loving companion so I’ll usually be wherever you are just so we can spend time together.

Being a very loving kitty, I yearn to find my very loving and attentive family/person. In return, I am a cat who want to be there for my humans as well. Just like a furry little guardian angel. I’ve been known to come and comfort a crying human. If you think my big heart is something… please read on because I am quite the character!

Exploring is one of my favorite hobbies because I’m curious about absolutely everything! I love checking under furniture, climbing into boxes, hiding beneath Blanket Mountains, and squeezing into tiny little spaces that I probably shouldn’t fit into. I simply must know what’s hiding in every corner of the home. I am always curious about what people are doing as well and like to be part of the action. My foster mom often laughs when I try to “help” with tasks. I can be a very funny character and love to make people laugh.

I have a ton of kitten energy and love to play.  One of my favorite games is ‘chase the treat’ in which I wait like a predator until my humans toss a treat or toy and then run and pounce on it. I also enjoy chasing wand toys, my small plush mouse and balls. I can even return a tennis ball by kicking it to you, like a tiny kitty soccer player or sometimes carry my toys around and bring them to my humans.  What can I say, I love toys and all manner of play. But don’t get me wrong, when I have had enough play, I’m quite calm and a well-behaved little lady who is never aggressive and I have never hissed I my foster home.  I also know how to use my litterbox perfectly and prefer clay litter. I learn quickly, but I hope you can be patient as I learn your house rules. 

With such a big personality, you might expect quite the meow. However, my voice is very small and sweet — more like the squeak of a baby kitten than a grown cat. I’m quite adorable when I communicate as I often trill and I also purr when I am happy and getting attention. I love to curl up close to my humans. Sleeping in the same bed with my humans is one of my most favorite things in the whole world. 

Loud noises can make me a little nervous, so I would do best in a loving home where I can feel safe and cherished. I haven’t met other animals or children yet. My foster mom thinks I would likely adapt well in most homes because of my good nature. I might enjoy a kitty playmate, but then again I would just as well enjoy playtime with an energetic human.

I may only be one little cat, but I have so much love to give. I have been told that there is something truly special about me and that I would be a real blessing because of my calm, sweet, and curious nature… and because I bring warmth wherever I go. I dream about finding the people I can spend forever with — the people I can greet, play with, talk to, cuddle beside, and create a lifetime of beautiful memories with.
