Every time we look down, there Reef is with his happy face and tail wagging! This fuzzy little guy is an expert snugglebug, and will crawl into every available lap if given the chance. Even though he loves being close to people and the resident dog, he has learned to sleep through the night in his crate and is happy to nap and play on his own if you give him a quiet corner or a blanket fort. He loves snuffle mats, chew toys, playing with kids and dogs, and basically everything he sees because life is awesome!

He is hitting all his major puppy learning milestones like a champ! He responds to his name, knows how to sit for a treat and is well on his way with potty training. He politely meets all new dogs and humans with a tail wag and lots of kisses. Like all young pups, his chewing may need to be redirected; luckily, he’s a good listener and eager to learn so he catches on quickly when you call his name. It only took one day for this clever little fellow to learn how to wipe his feet on the mat and sit for a treat when he comes in from his bathroom break! The usual consistent puppy training is still required, but so far he’s approaching it with a sweet disposition and good manners!

Reef has a gentle soul and a quiet nature. He’s so quiet, you might lose sight of him even when he’s right beside you!! However, when he’s ready to play, his alter ego “Reef the Beef” comes out to shine! Weighing significantly less than any of his current playmates, he bounces around gleefully with sweet little barks and lots of puppy energy waiting patiently for anyone to play along. He quickly won over the resident dog by watching her cues and responding respectfully. He has always been very respectful of the other dogs he has met and we are sure he would love a puppy playgroup or other doggy friends!

With his content demeanor, this little guy should do well in most environments. If you’re looking for a snuggly, fuzzy, sweet little sidekick to love, Reef’s your guy!
