I love exploring new things, keeping an eye on whatever my humans are doing, and then settling in for a long cozy nap afterward. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always happy to spend time nearby soaking up attention and pets.

Hello future family — my name is Mortimer, and I’m a 2-year-old orange tabby born on May 21, 2024. I’m a sweet, affectionate guy who loves cuddling with my humans just as much as I love lounging around in a sunny spot watching the world go by. I’m curious about everything and always interested in exploring new rooms, bags, boxes, or whatever else catches my attention.

I’ve recently been neutered and got the all-clear after dealing with some ear troubles, so I’m feeling healthy, happy, and ready for my forever home. Through everything, I’ve stayed incredibly gentle and easygoing. I’ve never shown aggression toward people or anything around me — I’m more of a “make friends and ask for pets” kind of cat.

I haven’t officially been tested with other animals or children yet, but based on my calm and loving personality, my foster family thinks I would likely do quite well with a proper introduction and a patient home.

My ideal home would have plenty of cozy places to nap, loving people to cuddle with, and maybe a few fun things for me to investigate during my daily adventures.
