Slightly timid

Mackarel is a shy cat at first but after a few days, he becomes unstoppable and always lets you know what he wants. If he sees you walking near his bed, he will ask for pets, and if he notices a closed door, he will politely request that you open it because, of course, he needs to make sure you are not hiding treats behind it.

Mackarel is a shy but very sweet cat. During the first few days, he will probably stay in his bed, but if you pet him, he will start purring almost immediately. It only takes him a few days to become brave enough to leave his little bed, but be careful: from that moment on, he will be watching you all the time. He is a very nosy cat and loves to know what you are doing. So if his bed is close to where you spend the day, there is a very good chance he will be staring at you. He will try to be subtle, but every time you turn around, he will be there, watching. And if you catch him, he will look away as if saying, “No, I was definitely not staring at you.”

He also loves the window. It is his favorite place. He loves watching cars, people, and basically anything happening outside. If the window has curtains, he will meow at you and politely ask you to open his personal entertainment TV.

He sleeps in his own bed, but do not think he forgets about you. In the morning, you will probably wake up and find him waiting outside your door, ready to guide you to his bed. Only once you follow him there will he finally stop walking and wait for you to give him the attention he deserves, like the little king he is.

His food habits are also a little funny. He likes his food to be in a place where he can see you eating, because when you eat, he eats too.

And about treats: he will ignore almost everything, even Churus. But the treat he actually likes? Hide it very well, because he has a very sharp nose and he will find it. Of course, he is a gentleman, so if he finds it, he will not eat too much. He knows he has to save some for another occasion.
