Slightly timid

Hi, My name is Vince. I like to think of myself as a “teacup panther”, I’m just that handsome.

I am a bundle of energy and love to run around the place playing. I am the most timid of my siblings (Valley and Vance). When I came into foster, I didn’t want to go anywhere near the humans but then I realized they were fun to play with and I like attention. I am still not 100% sure though and so you need to approach me gently, then I will purr and allow belly rubs. I will play on your knee but I don’t come for cuddles yet.

I have met the resident cats and I’m good with them as long as they don’t bowl me over, then I hiss and run away. But they are very interesting so I creep back and sniff them when they aren’t looking. I want to be friends but it will take some time to trust them. I would love a young cat friend in my new home as I love to play and snooze with my siblings, I don’t want to be by myself. 

I recently met the resident dog who is way to excited to meet us for us to play and interact with her fully but I was very interested in her and tried playing with her tail/paws when I got a chance. I was only scared when she was being too lively so I think I would like a dog who is used to cats or who will be gentle with me. They certainly look fun.

I need a quieter home – older kids would be fine but the younger ones would be too noisy and unpredictable not understanding I need calm approaches. I need to continue to learn people are good so please be around at least in the evenings so I can have my “human play time”
