Pepper is a two-month-old sweetheart with the kind of personality that steals your heart almost instantly. As I write this, he’s curled up asleep with his head resting on my lap, perfectly capturing just how cuddly and loving he really is. He has such a gentle, sweet nature, and it’s impossible not to fall for him.

He has a happy little spark about him wherever he goes. There’s always a bit of pep in his step, and he’s more than ready to play the moment someone invites him to. One of the loveliest things about Pepper is how naturally he reads the room — if it’s time for fun, he’s excited to join in, and if it’s time to settle down, he melts right into cuddle mode.

Pepper also has the funniest little personality. He’s wonderfully vocal and always seems to have something to say. If he grumbles at you and you answer back, he’ll keep the conversation going like he truly expects you to understand every word. It’s such a charming, hilarious quirk and just adds to how much character this little guy already has.

He wasn’t too sure about his kennel at first, but with gentle encouragement and a few treats, he’s learning quickly and now settles in much more happily. He’s still waking once during the night, which is completely normal for his age, but he’s already making such great progress and doesn’t seem far off from a full night’s sleep.

He’s doing so well with cats and other dogs, and his potty training is coming along beautifully. He’s already ringing the bells to go outside, which is such an impressive start for such a young puppy. He’s food motivated, sits nicely, and is eager to learn, making him such a joy to work with.

What stands out most about Pepper is how sweet, adaptable, and eager he is. He’s still such a moldable little guy, ready to bond deeply with his people and grow into whatever they need him to be. He has all the makings of an incredible companion — loving, playful, smart, and full of personality. And yes, he may share the occasional grumbly opinion along the way, but that only makes him even more lovable.

Pepper is truly such a special little pup, and whoever gets to call him theirs is going to be very lucky.
