Hi, my name is Lake, but my foster family has been calling me Luke. I love cuddles and affection.

I had a bit of a tough start to life, but AARCS and my foster family have helped me so much, and I’ve bounced back into a sweet, loving pup! I’m still catching up on some early learning, so I would really benefit from socializing and puppy classes to help me grow my confidence.

I have really started to come out of my shell with my foster family. The resident dogs here can feel a little overwhelming, so I like to take things at my own pace. I play pretty rough with my sister and am learning better ways to play nicely as I grow.

When I go outside, I do use the potty but am still figuring out how to let my people know when I need to go. I know I’ll get the hang of it soon though! If my foster mom is outside with me, I like to sit on her slippers to keep my feet warm.

I don’t mind my kennel at all. I sleep through the night and even nap in there! My favorite place to nap though is in a lap. When my foster mom is on the couch, her lap is my preferred place to be—even for playing.
