Bearnaise is a lovely girl who is still adjusting to her new surroundings and taking life one step at a time. While she can be a bit nervous right now, she’s not one to hide away completely—she enjoys being out and observing what’s going on around her from the comfort of a cozy bed or a safe spot nearby.

Bearnaise is still figuring out how she feels about her human friends, and when she’s feeling unsure she can show a little bit of “spice” to let everyone know she needs some space. It’s simply her way of communicating that she’s still building trust and learning that people can be kind and predictable. With patience and respectful interactions, she will have the opportunity to grow more comfortable and confident over time. This thoughtful girl would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands that trust takes time. A patient adopter who allows Bearnaise to set the pace and decompress will help her feel safe enough to show more of her personality.
