About Aakii
Meet the wonderful Aakii!
Aakii is a beautiful soul with the softest heart and the sweetest intentions. When she first arrived in our care, this lovely girl was understandably nervous and unsure of her new surroundings. It took her a little time to settle in and realize she was safe, but watching her slowly blossom has been nothing short of heartwarming.
Aakii is the kind of dog who forms meaningful bonds — once she feels comfortable, she begins to gently approach, her curiosity peeking through as she builds trust at her own pace. And when that trust clicks? You are rewarded with the most precious sight — Aakii’s happy little smile beaming up at you. She truly lights up around her people. She loves to give soft kisses and, if you sit down with her, she’ll happily come over and stand against you, soaking up all the affection she can get. It’s her sweet way of feeling close and connected.
Aakii already knows “sit” and is eager to continue learning. Ongoing positive reinforcement training will help her build confidence and strengthen her bond with her future family. She can get a little jumpy when she’s excited, but she’s not overbearing — just a gentle reminder about keeping “four on the floor” is all she needs. She’s smart, willing, and very responsive.
he absolutely loves her walks and is such a delight on leash. Aakii enjoys prancing beside you, her cutest little ears bouncing with each step. She’s still getting used to indoor life and sometimes isn’t too keen on coming back inside after outdoor adventures — she simply enjoys the fresh air! With patience and consistency, she will continue to adjust beautifully.
At her core, Aakii is a sweet, gentle, and deeply loving girl who just needed a little time to feel safe. She is ready for a patient, kind family who will continue helping her grow and reminding her every day that she is home.
