When he first arrived, he was understandably a bit nervous, but it didn’t take long for his sweet, affectionate nature to shine through. Grant is a super funny, playful, and silly boy who wins hearts instantly with his antics and boundless energy. Though small in size, Grant is an active and lively pup who loves to run, zoom around, and enthusiastically greet his people by running up, over, and all around — he’s full of puppy energy and joy! He can be a bit jumpy and mouthy at times, so ongoing training to help him learn manners will be important for his development. He thrives on playtime and absolutely loves his toys, though softer toys may need supervision as he can sometimes rip them apart in his excitement.

Grant adores being near people and is happiest when he can snuggle in a lap for some quiet downtime. He’s a true love bug who also responds wonderfully to treats, making training fun and rewarding. Leash walking is still new to him, and he would benefit from a family to help him gain confidence, especially since he’s not a fan of colder weather.

As a young puppy, Grant will greatly benefit from ongoing training and socialization. House training, impulse control, managing mouthing, and providing enriching brain games will all help him grow into a well-rounded, happy dog.
