Eliza & Eloise – Bonded Pair

Meet Eliza and Eloise, an adorable bonded pair of Dachshund crosses who are ready to find a loving home where they can continue life’s adventures side by side!

These two small girls share a very special connection and absolutely adore each other. Whether they are exploring, playing with their toys, or curling up together for a cozy nap, Eliza and Eloise are happiest when they are together. While both girls are incredibly sweet and affectionate, their personalities complement each other beautifully.

Eloise is the more outgoing of the pair and tends to take the lead, showing a bit more confidence as she explores the world around her. Eliza is a little more reserved and often follows Eloise’s lead, but she is just as loving and gentle once she feels comfortable. Together, they balance each other perfectly and make a wonderful little team.

Like many small dogs, Eliza and Eloise can be a bit vocal at times, so a detached home environment would likely suit them best. They are still building their confidence and can sometimes feel nervous around men, but with patience, kindness, and positive experiences, they will continue to grow and learn that the world is a safe place.

These clever girls are very treat motivated, which will be a big help with ongoing training. They may occasionally get a little mouthy when they are excited, but they are smart and eager to learn, and with gentle redirection and consistent guidance they should pick up good manners quickly. They also love toys and especially enjoy having safe things to chew on, which helps keep their busy minds engaged.

Because they can become uncomfortable when left alone for long periods, Eliza and Eloise would do best in a home where someone is around more often and where they can gradually build comfort with alone time. Providing plenty of enrichment, chew toys, and a secure area when unsupervised will help them succeed. Eloise can sometimes be a bit reactive toward other dogs, while Eliza is generally more easygoing, so thoughtful introductions and guidance will be helpful.

At the end of the day, Eliza and Eloise are simply two very sweet, friendly girls who want a family to call their own. They absolutely love snuggling together in a cozy bed and sharing quiet moments with the people they trust. With patience, structure, and lots of love, these charming little companions will blossom into confident and devoted members of the family!
