Say hello to Rigby!

Rigby is a sensitive and sweet boy who has come a long way since arriving. When he first came into care, he was very unhappy and unsure of his surroundings, but with time and patience, he has begun to show his affectionate side. Now, he will greet you right at his bunk and happily accept gentle pets and chin scratches, even leaning in to rub against you. Rigby appreciates having a space where he can retreat and feel safe, and he will likely need plenty of time to decompress when adjusting to a new home. He isn’t currently interested in treats or food as motivation, preferring calm interaction and gentle affection instead.

Curious and slowly building confidence, Rigby thrives when given the choice to engage on his own terms. This sweet boy would do best in a calm, patient home that allows him to explore, trust, and settle at his own pace, rewarding him with love and understanding as he continues to blossom!
