This handsome 8-year-old ginger boy has known some hardship, having spent some time outdoors on his own. Because of his past outdoors, sudden or loud noises can be a bit scary for him. Sounds like garbage bins being moved or dogs barking—yes, even on the TV—can send him off to find a safe hiding spot. He feels most at ease in calm, predictable surroundings where peace and routine rule.

Maximus hasn’t yet discovered the joys of toys, window watching, or cat trees. Instead, he prefers the comfort of quiet spaces close to his food and water, where he can relax and feel secure. His needs are simple, and his gratitude is deep.

This gentle soul would thrive in a low-activity home with adults or cat-savvy teenagers, and he would do best as the only animal in the household. In return, he offers warm lap cuddles, soft cheek hugs, and a steady, loving presence.
