After spending over a month in their foster home, Oreo and Baby’s personalities are really shining!

Oreo is the brave, bold leader of the duo — quite possibly the boldest guinea pig we’ve ever fostered. She actively seeks out food and attention, and is happy to tolerate pets if it means yummy veggies are involved. Oreo insists on being part of everything: while most guinea pigs hide during a quick cage clean, she’s right there “helping,” supervising the hay quality, inspecting fresh food, and investigating new blankets as they’re placed. She’s confident, curious, and endlessly entertaining.

Baby is much more shy and reserved, but she has made wonderful progress. Over the past month she’s grown increasingly comfortable, now taking food directly from our hands and staying out to explore while we refresh her space. We’re still building trust with her, but it’s been a steady stream of positive milestones, and she blossoms a little more each day.

Together, Oreo and Baby are a joyful pair. Every evening they zoom around and popcorn with excitement, and the moment they hear a bag rustle, they’re convinced it’s for them — cue the enthusiastic wheeking until treats arrive!

These two bring so much personality, charm, and joy, and would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.
