Slightly timid

Meet Elizabeth! This quiet girl responds well to a calm approach.  She even head butts for more attention at times!

Elizabeth just finished nursing six wonderful kittens.  She arrived with her kittens at AARCS a little worse for wear, with a number of infections but with care and medication, she is feeling much better now.

In the beginning, she was reluctant to be approached but as she healed, she has become more friendly. She still prefers to have her feet on the ground and is not crazy about having her meds administered, but she is slowly becoming more comfortable and being more of herself. She is consistently eager to see us when we enter the room, and she loves to eat!  We have seen this pretty girl actually play with string a couple of times and she is particularly fond of head scratches!

Elizabeth doesn’t seem concerned when seeing our dog through the clear barrier at the doorway, and isn’t bothered by barking.  Elizabeth likely needs a calm household without children. 

We think that once she is comfortable that she will come even more out of her shell and be a lovely, quiet companion for a patient owner.
