“Hey! I’m Davey, an energetic nine-month-old Shepard cross. I’m looking for an active family that can be my best friends forever.

Things are going great with my foster family, they keep me busy with lots of walks, bike rides and training. I’m an expert with all the basics commands, but honestly when I’m in play mode I’ve been known to jump up. But I’m going to keep working hard on that. I’m also a pro with crate training; I hang out in there while my humans are out and I sleep in there through the night.

I’ve had plenty of play time with other dogs off leash and its awesome. On leash greetings need a bit of work because I like to play and not everyone I meet does. Recently I’ve had some new adventures hanging at softball tournaments and taking hiking trips. Not to brag but I totally crushed it!

I think an active family with older kids would be great. I’m gentle with all kids but don’t always realize my size. I also think a furry brother or sister would be fun. I’m a real ‘people’ kind of guy. I don’t mind being in my house but doing it all day every day is hard for me. It would be good to find a home that someone could be around more often than not.
