About Polar Bear

Meet Polar Bear! Polar Bear is a stunning boy with soft fluffy fur and the kindest eyes, ready to find a loving family to call his own!

This young adventurer is a true outdoorsman—he loves exploring, sniffing every interesting scent, and taking in all the sights and sounds of nature. A home with a yard and an active family to keep his curious mind engaged through play, enrichment, and outdoor fun would be perfect for him! Like any young pup, Polar Bear is still learning the ropes and will need some guidance with his manners and basic training. He hasn’t quite mastered “sit” yet, but he’s a smart boy and will pick it up with patience and consistency—especially if treats are involved!

Also, Polar Bear did well with another dog in shelter playgroups!

He can be a strong puller on walks, but he does well with an easy-walker harness. He’s also working on his recall skills, so a family committed to helping him continue his training will be a great match. Polar Bear does have a bit of a selective palate—he much prefers his kibble mixed with wet food, thank you very much! He also has a bit of a prey drive when it comes to rabbits and birds and can get reactive around cars, so continued training and positive reinforcement will help him be his best self. But underneath all that youthful energy and enthusiasm, Polar Bear has a cuddly, affectionate side. When he’s in a calm, quiet setting, he’ll sweetly paw at you for more pets and scratches, soaking up every bit of love he can get. He’s a wonderful, eager-to-learn pup who just needs a family ready to guide him and help him flourish.

With love, patience, and lots of adventures, Polar Bear will be the most loyal and joyful companion. Could he be the perfect fit for your family?
