Meet Bones, a relaxed and playful young guy looking for a quiet home.

Bones is a loving inquisitive young pittie mix with lots of love to give. He loves to go for walks and is well behaved when out. He does not pull and readily follows your cues. Bones also loves to play and is happiest at your side. He can get a little overexcited when playing and doesn’t recognize his strength at times. He is working on learning to play gently though and is easily distracted with a favourite toy.

Cues such as Sit and Stay are new to Bones, but he is a quick learner. He is fully house trained and only had a single accident when he first arrived in his foster home.

Bones is interested in other dogs and was friendly when meeting two neighbourhood dogs. He is also interested in children but would likely be better with older children who are better able to direct his playfulness. He is shy in new situations and would do best in a quiet home with patient people to help him build confidence.

He was very skinny when he first arrived at the shelter and is working hard at putting on weight. He insists meals be served on schedule and leaves nothing behind.
