Tanisha (black) & Theresa (grey) – Bonded Pair

Hi, we are Tanisha & Theresa – a lovely and deserving pair of cats!

We are a mature, bonded pair that have been together all of our adult lives.  We’ll appreciate a calm, quiet household where we can relax & enjoy our golden years. We love to cuddle together in cozy spots like a kitty donut or snoozing on a bed, basking in the sunshine.  But we are also quite independent throughout the day. Our foster parents describe us as two gentle, kind souls.  

Hi, I’m Theresa, the green eyed, full grey beauty – the more outgoing of the two of us, so I will be introducing us.  I see humans (my foster parents) as my soft spot, cuddling on a chest or comfortable lap, purring up a storm.  If I need to remind them (or you) to pay attention, I will reach out with my paw and gently pull you back in. I love head & neck rubs. I am inquisitive with the outside world, but only watching the nature channel out the big windows in the front & back. I am very content to stay inside.  My foster Mom looked up the qualities of grey cats.  Here are a few:

Let me introduce my sub-sista, Tanisha.  I think that she is as beautiful as me.  She’s a panther with a black sleek, shiny coat.  And her eyes are as intense as mine.  Tanisha is a tripod trooper, missing her front left leg.  She might not be as stealthy as me when walking about, but who doesn’t want to know where a cat is at any given time!! She is very mobile and comfortable with her three legs. 

Tanisha is much shyer than me, and takes a bit longer to feel comfortable. But once she settles in, for a shy kitty, she still wants her social time.  Mornings, she is up for a good wand game – you can call her the “one paw wand bandit”!! Evenings in the TV room, laying about. And a good-night visit on the bed, to get a few head and back pats – she does love them and then off to her night spot.  She might not ever be a lap cat but that just leaves more lap time for me.  Just a last mention, she will keep you on your toes for meal time, announcing with her sweet meow that it is time for dinner. 

For our morning meal, we are both very patient but once you start preparing, we are there, vocal, letting you know how appreciative we are.
