My foster home has given me what I needed – time and space. You see, I was verrrrry afraid when my siblings (Malec and Mako) and I went to their home. We wanted to be left alone. But soon I discovered there were a couple resident cats on the other side of the partition and in a couple weeks, I was jumping over it and introducing myself to them. I still didn’t like to be petted but my foster mom would sneak up to me when I was sleeping and pat my back and you know, I am now thinking I kind of like that.

Playing with the toys, running through tunnels and up the cat trees makes for fun filled days. Sometimes I hear my foster mom ask me if I think I am a step, just because I lay on the step. I don’t see the issue 🙂!

My foster mom will hold me and I hear her say “it’s ok, it’s ok” and day by day, I am starting to get it. I need someone who will not rush me but let me become part of your family slowly.
