Extremely shy

Hi there, I’m Archibald, but you can call me Archie if you’d like. I’ve had a bit of a rough time here at the shelter, feeling overwhelmed and scared by all the new faces and noises. Sometimes, I find solace in the safety of my cubby, where I can take a breather and gather my thoughts.

Despite my struggles, I’m showing signs of resilience and courage. When someone approaches me with kindness, I don’t shy away. In fact, I’m quite open to receiving small head pets, which I find quite comforting. It’s my way of saying, “Hey, I’m willing to trust and connect with humans.”

I know I have a lot of potential to be an amazing companion, but I could really use a gentle hand and a nurturing environment to help me flourish. With the right person or family, I believe I can become the confident and loving cat I’m meant to be!
