About Jag

“Hey! Are you looking for an adventure buddy? My name is Jag or “Jax”, that’s what my foster mom calls me, because I am fast and jumps around when am happy. Being a young active pup, I love to run and play; needs someone who can give me plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to help me regulate my energy. When the weather is nice, my foster mom and I will go on longer walks at the nearby park or out into the mountains for the day. She also takes me to visit her friends, where I have playdates with other dogs, or we’ll go to places (shops) that allows me in so I can socialize.

I am quite a social butterfly, excited to greet everyone, making new friends (2 or 4 legged). In fact, I demand attention sometimes; just ask my foster mom how many times I’ve interrupted her online meetings wanting pets. Her coworkers enjoy my guest appearances and find it entertaining, well, most of the time anyways. Needless to say, I am very affectionate, I will nestle right up against you for cuddles or give you hugs (paws on your shoulders and resting my head next to you). My foster mom thinks that if I imprint on you, I’ll never leave your side … like you won’t even be able to go to the washroom alone. lol

Don’t worry, I am not always on GO mode! When my foster mom is working from home, I chill and relax by myself (occasionally go to seek attention from her, dah).

As amazing as I am, I do have a few ‘improvements’ I am working on and will need continue support when I go to my new family. For example, I am house and crate trained, but I dislike and have some anxiety when left alone, may vocalize or express my discomfort in different ways. Detached housing is a must! I share the same dirty habit of many youngster, I like to chew (also to entertain myself) and chase little animals (prey drive), but with redirection and positive correction I am learning quickly.

My foster mom wants you to know, I am very smart, food and toys motivated, with some patience and solid training, my potential is endless. I can be someone’s adventure buddy, as well as a loving companion to any family.

Come meet me and surely you will fall in love!” – xo, Jag
