Mayo is a shy, curious, and very handsome dwarf hamster. He is learning to trust people and eat from human hands. He loves to eat food that is scattered about his room, run on his exercise wheel and burrow in his paper litter. He is not a fan of getting his picture taken nor being held for long because a hamster’s life is short, and he is too busy living it to stay still for long. He is more active in the afternoon and early evening hours and when he gets used to a person’s voice, he will start to come out of hiding curious for food and attention.
