Moderately shy

Greetings, wonderful souls! I’m Osmund, a large and gentle giant on a quest to find my perfect forever home. Life in the shelter has taught me the importance of patience, and I’m seeking a quiet and understanding home that will let me unveil the true me.

I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a shy guy at first. New environments and faces can be a bit overwhelming, but give me some time, and you’ll witness a transformation. I’m like a book waiting to be opened, and with a patient and calm environment, I can show you the chapters of my true self. I enjoy the company of canines, and would love a cat-savvy dog in my home that can help to show me that people are safe!

One of my favourite things to do is roll around, showcasing my delightful side. It’s my way of saying, “Hey, I’m here, and I can be quite charming!” Once I’m comfortable, you’ll see a side of me that’s playful, affectionate, and eager to share moments of joy with you. Chin scratches are my absolute favourite! They’re the golden ticket to unlocking my affectionate side. A gentle touch under the chin, and you’ll have me purring and basking in the warmth of your company.

I have a weakness for treats—they’re the key to my heart. Offering me a tasty treat is not just a way to my stomach but also a way to build our connection. Moderation is the key, though; let’s savour those moments together.

I’m in search of a soulful home, one that understands the importance of patience and the beauty of slow, steady progress. If you’re looking for a companion who will blossom with time, I’m here, ready to build my confidence and flourish in a loving environment. I can’t wait to meet the patient and understanding friend who’ll join me on this journey! Apply today! xo Osmund
