Slightly timid

Hi, I am Elvira and I am queen of belly rubs! I love to cuddle and get as many pets as you can give me. Belly rubs, ear and chin scratches are great too! I will show how much I love them by purring and rubbing up against you. 

I am good at entertaining myself. I often can be found searching in the cat toy box for my favourite toy, usually a toy mouse. I like to throw them up in the air and catch them and run around the house with them. Don’t get me wrong – I like to play with you as well! The red dot game is really fun and so are wand toys. If I am feeling especially playful, I might bring you a toy to play a game of fetch. Once I have had a good play session, it is time for a nap and sun myself in a cat tree. 

When it is bedtime, I find a cozy place to sleep in my cat tree and stay there until morning. I have  impeccable litter box habits and am good at using my cat scratcher. I also enjoy having my lovely soft coat brushed and will let you trim my nails. 

I have made friends with the 2 resident cats in my foster home and we all get along great. My foster family has told me that I am very good at coming when I am called and I do this even better than the other 2 cats in the house!

I do prefer to have my feet on the ground. As far as feeding time goes, I am a grazer. When breakfast rolls around, I will eat my breakfast but save some for snacking later. 

My foster family thinks that I would do best in a quieter home as very loud noises will still startle me. But don’t worry, I quickly figure out the noise won’t hurt me and go back to whatever I was doing.
