About Elvira

Slightly timid

Meet Elvira, a very loving mother to her 3 kittens who have now gone off to their forever homes. She is now looking to find her forever people.

Elvira loves belly rubs, chin rubs, ears scratches and all the pets she can get. A good belly rub will get her motor going. She loves to play with her pet mice, balls and any plush cat toy she can find. She is often found carrying some toy around or batting and chasing it across the floor. It is quite entertaining to watch her antics playing with her toys.

Elvira also enjoys sitting up in a cat tree and watching the world go by outside. She has not scratched the furniture at all and very good at using the cat trees and scratchers.

Elvira would do best in a quieter home as she can still get startled by loud sudden noises, but she usually quickly determines the noise is not threatening and continues her activities. We have had visitors over and once she has had a few minutes to ensure they are okay, she has gone to them for a smell and pet.

Elvira has grown her confidence over the past month since her kittens have left.  She has started joining us on the couch when she would like a belly rub or just hang out with us. She is a girl who prefers to have her feet on the ground, but you can quickly pick her up and place her on your lap for a good pet.

At her current foster home, there are 2 resident cats that she gets along with. We believe she would be quiet happy with  another confident cat in the home but she would also be okay as the only cat. Elvira uses her litter box well with no accidents. She is a good eater and will nibble throughout the day.

She is looking for a home that will allow her to grow her confidence. She will be great companion. Are you my people? Come and meet her! Apply today!
