Sweet, shy Shi. Not much is know about how Shi survived in the world before her rescue but we believe that she did not have much interaction with humans. With much love and kindness she is learning that humans can be trusted (and are an excellent source of treats!).

Shi needs a special home that can give her a quiet, peaceful environment where she can continue her journey of learning to trust. In return for your patience Shi will bring you joy as you see the ‘real Shi’ emerge from her shell. Shi is very gentle, rarely makes a sound, and is great on leash. Leash walks are her favorite! This is where you will see her happy personality shine through as she prances along beside you.

Shi struggles with some anxiety when she is indoors and although this is improving all the time, her forever home will need to be understanding of her desire to be outdoors. Shi is not 100% housetrained yet but is very reliable at using pee pads on the occasion she needs them. Her bladder patterns are predictable and this is generally easy to manage. Overall, Shi is a very lovable girl who will fill your heart.
