About Affogato

Meet Affogato! He is an extremely gentle, snuggly, and sociable companion. Since the first day he stepped paw into our home, he has demonstrated his lack of shyness and love for human companions. He is also in love with his small pet fish (read: cat nip infused mini stuffie) and the only time you will hear him chirping is when he has captured his fish and is proudly carrying to you as a gift of appreciation.

If you work from home, you are guaranteed to have Affogato nearby, staying quiet and napping while you carry on with your work. No need to worry about him stepping on your keyboard though – he is not *that* cat! He is also incredibly gentle and affectionate with the energetic toddler in the house – even when he is being questioned about his desire to wear a doll hat or is used as a pillow. He has never growled at, scratched at, or nipped at anyone. Affogato further displays his maturity by stepping out of the way of the vacuum, but not being overly bothered by it and its noise.

We are told this chill guy has a right patella (kneecap) that can be slipped out of place, though we have never observed him being bothered by it. Just to be sure of his ongoing ability to leap from surface to surface like the supercat he is, Affogato has started getting a monthly shot to help with any possible pain or inflammation, and is eating special food to help with possible itchiness (he likes his leg fur to be shorter than is fashionable).

Truthfully, we have been fostering cats since 2013 and Affogato is one of the sweetest cats we have met. Ask about this guy soon before we cave and claim him as our own! Apply today!
