Pecorino is the definition of a true best friend: loyal, loving and steady!

This smart boy is food-motivated and eager to please! He walks nicely on leash, even when passing people by. He is up for anything and approaches adventures thoughtfully, often checking in with his companion. He’s happy to try new things in exchange for a snack or two! Pecorino has all the makings of an excellent adventure dog, if that’s your jam.

Like many dogs, Pecorino thrives on routine. He appreciates life around familiar people and predictable schedules – knowing what to expect helps him to settle and feel secure. Right now, his routine looks like a puzzle toy for breakfast, a short walk, then relaxing at home with music until his next outing of the day! He’s been a perfect gentleman when left on his own in his foster home and is reliably potty trained.

Pecorino is looking for a quieter home with kids 15+ that doesn’t have a lot of strangers coming and going. He may be able to have some doggy friends, but he prefers to have his home and family all to himself, so he’s looking for a home where he can be the only dog. He may also be able to live with dog-savvy cats!
