As an older gal, Hayden is past the zoomies stage. She will chase a ball, but then would prefer a good game of keep away with you. She’s quiet and reserved, for the most part, unless you introduce a squirrel in the mix.

She’s working on properly greeting other dogs and slow introductions to calmer dogs works best for her. House trained and kennel trained (no coaxing needed), she greets me with tail wags and kisses every morning and then promptly goes to the back door to go outside to do her business. She has a good strong bark to alert you that someone is at the door, but then quickly takes the cue that her job to protect you is done.
