Meet Almond (affectionately called Almy), a lively and loving 12-year-old pup who still has plenty of pep in her step! She adores being petted, going for walks, and cuddling up with her favourite foster mom.

Almond, or “Almy” as we call her, is a beautiful 12-year-old medium-sized dog (around 50 pounds) who truly doesn’t act her age! Full of energy and enthusiasm, Almy is happiest when she’s getting outside for a walk, playing with her toys, or soaking up all the cuddles and affection she can get.

She absolutely loves treats, and her joyful spirit shines through in everything she does. While she has so much love to give, Almond would do best as the only pet in the home, and in a household without younger children, as she can be reactive. She’s currently working on building her confidence and staying calm during walks, and she’s making great progress with consistency and positive reinforcement. Almy would thrive in a patient, dog-savvy home where she can continue to enjoy her golden years filled with love, adventure, and lots of treats!

Age is just a number to Almond!
