The King is here!

King is a handsome boy with the best floppy ears, an expressive face, and a set of puppy-dog eyes that are nearly impossible to resist. He is a friendly, affectionate dog who loves spending time with his people and isn’t shy about asking for attention. In fact, one of King’s favourite things is leaning right into his humans for big pets, cuddles, and affection.

This active boy enjoys using his nose to explore the world around him and would love a home with a secure fenced yard where he can safely sniff, investigate, and enjoy the occasional burst of zoomies. King also has a big voice and isn’t afraid to use it when he wants attention or has something to say! King is looking for a home that can provide structure, guidance, and continued training. He will benefit from ongoing work on his walking manners, particularly when exciting sights and scents catch his attention. Because of his high prey drive, King cannot live with cats or other small animals and will need adopters who are prepared to manage and continue working on this behavior. We also know that King is dog-selective, so any introductions to other dogs should be done thoughtfully. Due to his size, energy, and training needs, he is looking for a home with children aged 12 and older.

King is a genuinely nice boy with lots of love to give. With the right family, clear boundaries, and plenty of affection, he is sure to become a loyal and rewarding companion!
