She is very treat motivated and eager to learn, which will make ongoing training both rewarding and important for her future success. Like many young, energetic dogs, Jessa can become jumpy and mouthy when excited, so she will need a patient family willing to continue working on her manners, impulse control, and socialization using positive reinforcement.

This playful girl is also recovering from a previous leg fracture, so her future family will need to help ensure her play stays safe and not too rough while she continues healing. Jessa has done well interacting with another dog in shelter playgroups and may enjoy having a canine companion who matches her playful nature while respecting her recovery needs.
