He is so confident and curious! Murdock quickly mapped our house and the routes he needs to his food bowl, his bed, the door. He navigates his way around stairs, doorways and furniture like a pro, and shakes off the occasional bump with a wag of his tail. If he’s ever unsure of his surroundings, Murdock takes adorable exaggerated straight arm steps to feel his way around until he feels comfortable again. He also loves having a couple beds around the house with puffy sides that he can settle into with a toy or for a nap.

What Murdock is missing in vision he has made up for with an incredible sense of smell (he WILL find you in the bathroom) and hearing (sleeping with the radio on helps him from hearing little sounds through the night). He is great with our resident dogs, playing in the house or yard and managing his way around their legs. Outside he will literally run from where ever he is, navigating trees, the deck, and up the stairs when it’s time to come in. He is happy to be outside in the sunshine, happy to nap at your feet, and content in his space when left on his own.

Murdock is going to be a great family dog!
